California car for most of its life. Only out of California for 3 years.

Here is what the seller says about it:

"Complete Frame on restoration.

Frame is perfect and solid, this is why a frame off was not done.

Repainted with correct (976) PPG GM reproduction Lemans Blue base coat clear coat, color sanded & polished along with the replacement of all the correct O.E. reproduction emblems,

Numbers Matching Motor completely rebuilt by CP Performance Cylinder Head and Machine

Everything balanced/blue printed, stock crank, rods, pistons, new rings, bearings, Numbers Matching heads completely done, port matched and cleaned up, seats, guides, all new valve-train from Comp Cams, Nostalgia Plus LS6H+ kit & Magnum Roller Rocker Arms. Numbers matching Heads milled giving car right around 10.5:1 compression runs on 91 pump gas produces over 500HP. Sounds better than a 435HP solid lifter car and more like an L88, with Allen's stainless Steel 2.5"inch Chambered factory "Off Road" exhaust out the back and correct Chrome tips.

Motor compartment is completely detailed to O.E.  /  N.C.R.S specs with correct everything. Valve covers with drippers, correct air cleaner, matching correct intake, correct numbers matching QuadraJet, that was restored to O.E. finishes and stage II modified by SM carbs in California. Carb is resized to 800 cfm and all internals are replaced modified and tuned for motor package but looks like bone stock and is the numbers matching carb.

At a cost of over $3500.00, Dave Fiedler at TI Specialty completely restored the entire Factory Transistorized Ignition system. Completely and correctly restored the matching numbers distributor, pickup coil magnet, pole shaft oil pump drive gear and bearings greased the way they should be with correct wiring harness and plug. Correct Delco Amplifier with new upgraded M&H “Gold” Circuit board and correct O.E. new wiring harness, with correct pig tail from Amplifier (1969 only). Correct and date coded Delco braided spark plug wires, correct Delco cap, Delco rotor and distributor chrome cover.

A Dewitt’s aluminum 4 core radiator was added(I have the original radiator), painted correct color black and it cools much better than stock but maintains the O.E. stock appearance. New correct O.E. fan shroud was replaced along with all the correct GM hoses, correct hose clamps and correct O.E. Thermostat housing.

New correct reproduction GM fan belt along with correct pulleys and New restored correct GM water pump.

All new correct O.E. weather stripping, seals, under car body heat insulation and bushings throughout the car.

All new correct Delco brake system and completely replaced. Lines, hoses, calipers, master cylinder, pads, clips etc.

New rear trailing arm bearings, leaf spring bushing link kit, rear end all gone through factory numbers matching  AU 3.36:1 Heavy Duty Posi

Numbers matching M21 transmission, completely rebuilt restored and blue printed by Robert Tau.  All new correct O.E. clutch linkage, correct reverse switch with correct wiring harness, bushings, springs shift fork, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing, clutch kit, rubber boot seal at firewall for shift rod, new correct felt seal for shift linkage, new upgraded Hurst performance shifter and linkage, shifts much better than the sloppy factory shifter(I also have the original shifter),  the correct look inside the car, shifter with correct T-handle with reverse lockout and correct black chrome shifter ball. Original pressure plate correctly Machined by CP Performance Cylinder Head and Machine.

All new Windshield Wiper system, linkage, bushings, vacuum canister, actuators, clips, hoses, arms with correct brass squitter’s, blades etc. everything was replaced with new correct pieces and the wipers work!

All new correct O.E. vacuum hoses replaced throughout the car for everything including the head lights and wiper system.  All new correct O.E. vacuum actuators and vacuum canisters replaced as well.

New correct O.E. Horn relay, the horn works too!

All new GM Rally wheels, trim rings and center caps along with Bridgestone Silver Town reproduction radial redlines.

Interior completely restored with Al knoch reproduction door panels and trim, seat covers, head rest covers and all new seat foam and headrest foam and correct ABS covers for headrests. New emergency brake cover, carpet with under insulation, new rear compartment doors and hardware, window sill trim, window header trim and correct new complete dash. Gauge lights replaced, new O.E. oil pressure gauge and quartz clock.  Astro ventilation cables restored lubed and functions correctly. Top restored with correct O.E. hardware, bolts, levers, handles, bushing weather stripping and dowel pins etc. New correct Al knoch vinyl top was replaced and window pillow to keep rear window from scratching when it’s in the down position as well. The original auxiliary Black vinyl hard top goes with the car as well.

This car is a very rare optioned L36, with the MH on its Engine stamp pad and tank sticker showing it was a factory Transistorized Ignition car. It was ordered with no power accessories except power brakes and Tilt/telescoping wheel.  A 427 390hp L36 with factory special ordered K66 Transistorized Ignition, experts from N.C.R.S think very few of these cars were ever produced with K66,  it was a very expensive on an L36 as it was not a standard option . An N.C.R.S Master Judge,  said back in the sixties racers would order the L36 427 with the K66 TI system, because it was cheaper than a L71 435HP car that came standard with K66, then remove the engine and rebuilt it for higher horsepower and then use the high output Transistorized Ignition system from Delco, as it was one of the best performance Ignition systems at the time. There was no performance HEI system yet, so for all intents and purposes it was the HEI of its time; technology taken from the Aircraft industry.

A 1969 427 390HP L36 4spd in Lemans Blue with Bright Blue interior with factory K66 Transistorized Ignition, is a very hard if not impossible corvette to find with all its original equipment, completely restored and ready to show and drive!

I have all the receipts, paper work, pictures and video of restoration

This car was restored to show, drive and enjoy.

It is a very top level Convertible. This car is Stunning in person and pictures just don’t do it justice. It sounds Awesome!

This is the last of the 427’s

Priced at 59.9K this is a bargain and a great investment, these C3’s are going up in price and are getting harder to find original 427’s.  If you bought a 1969 convertible 427 4spd that needed a complete frame on restoration, the labor would cost more than the asking price of this car. There are a hand full of 1969 Convertible's for sale right now from 13-30k higher in price and mine is just as nice and even nicer in some cases. I have inspected these cars and my car is by far the better bargain, great color combo completely restored and put together right everything works and this car runs Awesome and will crush an L71 435 hp car if one ever pulled next to me at a light! all at a much cheaper price.
