The 1973 model is a very interesting one… Due to more strict insurance requirements, the distinctive Chrome bumpers were scheduled to be gradually phased out.  Accordingly, this model was endowed only with Chrome rear bumpers which gave it a unique one-off appearance, an interesting look and a good conversation piece at the Sunday Corvette Show.

Our offer today is a very fine example of this vintage which comes very well equipped with the upgraded L82 350 engine rated at 250 HP (!) mated with the 4-speed manual transmission, a desirable combo… Other options include Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt-tele steering column, AM/FM radio…  Car is fully documented and had one owner till 2005 and the second one since, now showing 81K actual miles.

Car is numbers matching and original, including most paint. The following items were replaced throughout the years: Period correct Powder Coated Headers, Period correct Holly 650 spread bore, Front Carpet, Ghost Flames on Hood and Sides, Tires. Front Nose Section (old one was dry rotted) and tag bezel, Master cylinder, Calipers…

The following items have been repaired/restored since 2006…

Al brakes with SS calipers, brake lines, master cylinder, and radiator re-cored. All belts and hoses, alternator, starter and carb. rebuild, all gauges rebuilt, engine-trans-differential resealed, recondition fuel tank, all warning lights, electrical components and buzzers repaired, new speakers, all power steering components rebuilt, window regulators repaired and much more.  All parts were replaced with correct date coded replacements. Car drives as new, air blows cold…

All original paperwork including 2 tank stickers, original owner manual,  Bill of Sale, Etc are available for your inspection.”

This car is a very original and in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition example of a unique model year with great appeal as a driver and investment potential
