The third geneation Corvette (C3) debuted with the 1968 model having a distinctive look which later on gained the moniker "Bumper Cars" due to the prominent Chrome bumpers.  They were available for the 68-72 models and then phased out due to insurance requirements.  

Our offer today is a fine example of a 1971 T-top Coupe which is in "virgin" state, a solid survivor, also a great driver and a candidate for gradual restoration.  It appears that everything is orginal on this Vette, from the paint to the interior, engine, transmission, etc.  It comes equipped with the standard 350 engine, coupled with the automatic transmission, also, power steering, power brakes and tilt-tele steering column.   Sometimes early in its life, factory-like AC system was added correct piped via the actual vents with the controls neatly installed in the dash.  

Seller affirms that the car had two owners and miles on the odometer (72K) could possibly the original ones.   Mechanically it is a very sound car: engine starts right away, shifts as it should, AC blows cold, vacuum operated properly, brakes are good... All in all, a very complete and unmolested Vette.   Being untouched, it has the usual wear spots on the paint and interior as seen in the pics.
