Back in 1980, Corvette was at the height of its popularity with a total production of 40614, the second largest so far after the 1979 model.

Today, low mile models have already started the upward appreciation trend and are quickly acquired by collectors and enthusiasts alike.  Needless to say, there are plenty of choices out there... but since they were enjoyed quite a lot, it is hard to find a fine example.

Your wait is over: we are pleased to offer a very special model, a three owner T-top Coupe with only 29K miles (!).  It has a documented ownership history with registration, titles and partial service records.   All its owners used it as a show car and for occasional Sunday rides with an average of 850 miles per year.  It is all original and in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition.  Two years ago it received a very high quality paint job (over $6000 spent) and now looks better than on the showroom floor.  Interior is the original optional Leather in excellent condition as seen in the pics.  All gauges, instruments, radio... works.  Engine compartment also looks untouched and correct from all standpoints.  Optional aluminum wheels and the correct LOF factory glass tops (with leather covers) add a great value.

Best part is that the car is equipped with the upgraded L82 engine rated at 230 HP, a 40 HP increase over the base L48.   Only 5069 models, that is 12% of production, came this way, making it a rare and desirable combination.

 All in all, this fine example is as close to perfection for a late Stingray.  With its array of rare options, low miles, documented history, outstanding condition it is a sure candidate for NCRS judging, also a collectible with great appreciation potential.
