Vehicle Description:

Welcome to THE VETTE NET, the oldest online Corvette business, a place where enthusiasts come to meet when selling their prized cars, a place where we connect them with the best match and arrange a smooth and mutually profitable transaction.  Our company is also a proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum.

1975 was the last year for a convertible until 1986. It was the first year for catalytic converters as well as the first year for HEI (high energy ignition). 1975 also marks the first year since 1964 that only one engine displacement size was available. The rear "Rubber Bumper" was updated this year to be one piece, eliminating the seam down the middle. Internally both the front and rear bumpers were redesigned to improve low-speed crash survivability. The speedometer this year also included km/hr in a smaller type face than MPH in the US, in Canada it was reversed. This was the last year for "Astro Ventilation". This was the first year for the headlight warning "Buzzer".

This fine example comes dressed in a beautiful “Bright Blue” paint and has the optional Deluxe interior with wood door trim and leather seats. The paint is in great condition with minor wear and stress imperfections. Interior is mostly complete, with newer carpet, nice leather seats and good Deluxe door panels. Gauges work with the exception of trip odometer, alternator gauge and clock. Horn will also need attention and the radio too.

Engine is strong and performs as it should. It benefited from a few nice upgrades like true dual exhaust with Dynomax mufflers, new-ish Aluminum radiator, Edelbrock intake manifold, air cleaner and valve covers. Vacuum works and headlights operate properly. AC is present, but will need attention. Automatic transmission is in great working order.  A new set of tires were just installed.

All in all, this is a great choice for entering the hobby without breaking the bank. We would call it an “all there” car with great integrity which a new enthusiast will enjoy bring it back to its glory, one little item at a time.
