If you have been looking for a big block Corvette convertible, we have this awesome TRI-POWER 1968 classic to show you. It is being presented to you by THE VETTE NET.com, a nationwide Corvette brokerage network and a proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum.

As you can see by the photos, the paint and trim code is Polar White with Gunmetal vinyl interior. How often do you see a Gunmetal interior?  Not very often and wait until you see it in the sunlight! It is an awesome color.

Having spent serious dollars on the engine, transmission, brakes, tires, wheels, exhaust, electrical system, etc., the current owner has given this Vette new life and made it fun to drive. Yes, the numbers match.

It was originally ordered with many options. They include: (L68) Tri-power 427 big block factory advertised at 400hp. (972) Polar White paint code. (442) Gunmetal vinyl interior. (A82) Headrests. (A01) Soft Ray tinted glass all windows. (A31) Power windows. (N36) Telescopic steering column. (N40) Power steering. (J50) Power disc brakes. (G81) Positraction differential. (M40) Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. (U69) AM-FM radio. White soft-top.

Those IROC-style chrome American Racing Wheels mounted on Coker radial redline tires give this Corvette a great stance and unique look. Much nicer than stock in our opinion!  Also included in the sale is the original simulated walnut steering wheel. It is in excellent condition. New 1968 reproduction interior door panels (Gunmetal color) are included as is the original flat dash panel. It would replace the map pockets you see on the passenger side dash.

You might not see them in the photos but those are drilled and slotted rotors behind the American Racing wheels. They offer excellent stopping power and do look nice.

This big block convertible is very fast; has excellent road manners, and tracks straight down the roadway. Yes, this Vette has an automatic transmission and not a four speed. We fully expect you�ll have VERY BIG SMILE ON YOUR FACE when you exercise the engine. And, your left leg will be very grateful for the automatic when you are caught in �stop and go� traffic!!

For several years, the owner has been an excellent caretaker of this special Corvette. It has not been raced and is driven only on nice Spring, Summer and Fall days. Now it is your turn to enjoy this classic! There is nothing quite like driving a big block Corvette convertible with the top down of course.

While the paint has accumulated some chips and a few stress cracks, this Corvette still looks good and gets complements all the time. If it is a nice �driver� you are seeking, here is your next Corvette.
