IMPORTANT DETAILS:

A quick look back at Corvette history shows the transfer to “soft bumper” Corvettes was completed in 1974. No more chrome bumpers. Unique to this model year is the split rear Urethane bumper featuring a vertical center seam.

The owner of this beautiful Corvette completed a “frame on” restoration in 2016. As you will see, it is a very thorough restoration and the Corvette is ready for you to enjoy. Note the flat rear window was converted to the earlier “removable” style.

Under the hood you will see the numbers matching L48 engine that is mated to a Super T10 four-speed transmission. Both have been rebuilt.

That engine was bored .030 over. The crank is the factory original. The new iron heads (2.02/1.60) are from Summit Racing®. The owner installed a mild 262 Hydraulic Comp Cam®.

New headers from Corvette Central have been installed and are connected to a complete new Magnaflow® true dual exhaust system. You will love the sound.

The intake manifold, carburetor, valve covers and custom cowl induction air-cleaner adds to the visual “wow” factor of this Corvette’s engine bay. The estimated 350 horsepower will provide even more of a “wow factor” and driving fun!

Moving on to the other improvements....The suspension has been completely restored (upgraded). All the bushings have been replaced and the new front coil springs reduce the ride height by one inch. As you will experience, the fiberglass rear spring and KYB shocks greatly improve the Corvette’s ride quality and handling.

The fuel tank is new as is all the plumbing.

CONDITION RATING 8+: The owner rates the overall appearance condition of his Corvette as outstanding (rating it at 8+). The body panels, stainless, glass, paint, and interior and chassis are all in fine condition.

The undercarriage appears solid. The owner reports there are no visible signs of any frame repairs or deterioration.   

This beautiful Nassau Blue1974 Corvette T-top receives annual maintenance (lube, oil, filter) and is driven occasionally. The owner reports the Corvette runs very well; tracks straight down the highway and shifts smoothly. The brakes have been fully serviced.
