It is our pleasure to bring to your attention a craftily restored 1957 Corvette presented in Cascade Green paint with Shoreline Beige interior.   It is a very early production car #214, built Oct 1956, when the only options available to order were the single four-barrel setup rated at 230 HP and the 3-speed manual transmission or Powerglide automatic, but presently features a correct 4-speed transmission and a two four-barrel carburetor and hydraulic camshaft making it a 245 HP upgrade on the original engine (intake and carburetor setup was changed). The original intake goes with the car, so does the original 3-speed transmission.

Radio is a look-alike Wonderbar masquerading a modern AM/FM radio with an auxiliary jack input to accommodate your phone.   Everything in the interior is new and of high quality appropriate for era.  All is in functioning order including the clock. Convertible Top is a correct recently installed by Al Knoch with the correct cloth covered weather-stripping.  Being a very low 57 model, it has a 56-style rear view mirror which is correct according to NCRS.  It even has the correct windshield wiper blades (Trico dimple blades) which are quite sought after, bringing a hefty $400 on Ebay if you can find them...

It features a very high quality paint which is flawless and extremely attractive.  The contrasting white coves adds great visual appeal.  It has the correct hubcaps, correct painted wheels with new reproduction tires.  Undercarriage is very, very clean, all redone. 

Engine, matching numbers, now with the 245 HP setup appears to be freshly done.  Master cylinder, radiator, oil cap, 9-finned performance valve covers are correct for this application.   This is one of the finest example of a correctly restored, extremely attractive and civilized driver to the Sunday Show guaranteed to win some awards.
