This beautiful frame-off restored L72 Sting Ray Coupe is in excellent condition as reported by its owner. He says everything works.

This 1966 Corvette coupe was originally sold by Stokes Chevrolet in Clanton, Alabama. Much of the owner history has been documented from 1967 through today.  

Production records show significantly fewer coupes than convertibles were produced in 1966. How many coupes were ordered with the L72 option? That is unknown but one could conclude it was a small number.

CONDITION RATING (9+): The owner rates the overall cosmetic condition of his big block 1966 Corvette Coupe as like new (rating it 9+). 

As you would expect, this Corvette was fully frame-off restored in preparation for Top Flight judging. The owner reports everything works including the aftermarket air conditioning. Yes, the original heater components were saved and are available.

The entire drivetrain was rebuilt during restoration and is very healthy. An electronic ignition was part of the original configuration from the factory and remains so today. The current owner indicates the car was recently serviced with new oil and filter.
