1974 model year was quite special: transition from the \"Bumper cars\" just ended and, in the haste of it, a two-piece polyurethane rear bumper was offered, unique for that year. Other specific features was the last of the true dual exhausts and no catalytic converters, also the last of the Big Blocks, 454 rated at 270 HP!
We are proud to offer a very nice 1974 Convertible in a stunning combination: White with Dark Blue interior. This fine example received a quality paint six years ago in the the original White which is in excellent condition. Interior is the correct Dark Blue Vinyl, code 413 and has new seat covers, door panels, carpet, mats. All gauges work, thee are no cracks and tears, weather stripping is in good condition. Top is Blue cloth and is very good condition as seen in the pics. Miles show 70K, which according the actual owner are actual.
Engine is the base L48 350 rated at 195 HP. It has the VIN number and the correct suffix stamped: CLA denoting a 350, automatic application. It feel fresh, starts right away, exhibits lots of power, blows no smoke... Transmission shifts smoothly with no hesitation. Headlights pop and down as they should, brakes work great, tires are new on polished custom wheels. Undercarriage is very clean.
All in all, this is a fine example of a late Stingray Convertible in great condition both mechanical and cosmetic. It needs nothing, but a new home.
