If you love the classic look of the 1981 Corvette but dislike the low horsepower stock engine, this is the one for you. Under those white racing stripes rests a balanced and blueprinted 383 Chevy small block engine (4-bolt mains) built with top quality components. The dyno sheet shows 450hp and 460lbs. of torque. Its 10:1 compression likes premium gas right from the pump. The 350 turbo-hydramatic transmission was built to be bulletproof. It has a 36-element sprag, Alto Red Eagle clutches, and manual valve body which allows you to hold RPM and get full benefit of the engine’s performance capability. The stall converter is a 3200 ATI Streetmaster.

This Corvette is FAST but also has great handling and is a very good cruiser. The chrome side exhausts are connected to headers and deliver a sound that makes a statement.

Comfort and convenience options include air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, power antenna, tinted glass, removable reflective tinted glass roof panels, anti-theft alarm, and a JVC stereo. Recent chassis upgrades include a fiberglass spring and all six U-joints have been replaced. This Corvette is ready for you to enjoy.
