1968 brought the debut of the 3rd generation Corvettes with a radical redesign which instantly became very popular.
We are pleased to offer a very desirable Convertible: 1968 Safari Yellow with the optional L79 engine, 327/350, matching numbers coupled with the manual transmission. Other options include power steering, power brakes, power windows. It benefits from the addition of aftermarket \"Vintage AC\" which cools a lot better than than the factory system. Tank Sticker is available confirming the original factory options, see pics.
Car appears to have been gone through completely and is in great shape. All seems to be working order. Interior looks very well done and the seat covers, carpet, etc look fresh. Has new convertible top.
Engine compartment is clean and nicely detailed with some chrome parts. It starts and runs as it should exhibiting lots of power and no smoke. Undercarriage and frame are also clean with no problems. Paint is in very good condition with only one quarter-size chip on the front passenger side fender.
All in all, this is a great value and a chance to own the earliest \"bumper car\" in a Convertible with the 327/350 engine and the manual tranny + AC to boot!
