The 1962 model is quite special in Corvette history... It was the last of the first generation (later known as C1) and the first of the 327 small block making it a desirable model for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

You are invited to view and enjoy this beatiful Black 1962 Corvette with Red interior.   According to the seller, it sustained a meticulous off-frame restoration and virtually everything was addressed on the car.   Paint is fresh and shows beautiful, interior is all new and correct.   Dash instruments are in working order.  Undercarriage is very clean, rubber is fresh, there are no signs of rust or damage.  According to all the tell-tale signs, it seems it came from the factory with the 327 engine equipped with the high-output setup rated at 340 HP.  The engine block cast is correct for the application (870 suffix), but when it was rebuilt, the engine pad was decked and there are no numbers stamped on it.   The intake manifold is not correct for the application, but the air intake is.  Other than that, the engine compartment is very clean and correct as seen in the pictures.   It has new tires and correct hubcaps on the wheels.

You can drive this Vette everywhere!  It starts right away, engine exhibits adequate power, transmission shifts as it should, brakes work right. This is a fine example of high quality driver/show car with great appeal and investment value.
