Thanks for stopping by to view this nice 1975 CanAM Wide Body Corvette T-top presented to you by THE VETTE NET. We are a professional Corvette brokerage network and a proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum.
If you are a Corvette enthusiast searching for a Vette with a distinctive and impressive appearance, feast your eyes on this dazzling example. This one-owner Corvette was converted to the Wide Body CanAm style in 1976 and repainted in 2004. It has been well preserved and remains in very good condition.
Most likely you are familiar with these wide body Corvettes. You will see this one is quite similar to the Greenwood CanAm Wide Body. They were seen often in road racing. However, this 1975 Corvette wide body was custom built by its original owner for cruising and its unique appearance––but not for racing.
The wide body fiberglass body panels were purchased from Ecklers. You will also see in the photos the wheel wells are original Greenwood CanAm wide body. The Vette sports a Daytona hood and front bumper. In the rear, you will see a turbo wing and Moon gas cap. The ET Aluminum Wheels are deep dish 15” x 10” and are nicely proportioned to the car.
This 1975 Corvette retains its numbers matching engine, Muncie transmission, and Positraction differential. The L-48 engine offers you plenty of excitement thanks to a rebuild that saw the addition of a “Hi Energy 268 cam, Edelbrock 600cfm carburetor, and Performer intake. Of course, the headers and side exhaust give just the right sound and increase the horsepower. If your preference is to do a lot of cruising and some car shows, this CanAm wide body Vette should be in your garage.
The owner has been meticulous about maintenance. Handling is responsive thanks to the suspension upgrades from Rancho Suspension. This is a very fun Corvette to drive and enjoy. Its performance and comfort will impress you.
Options include: Power steering, power brakes, AM/FM Cassette (aftermarket), L-48 engine (rebuilt), 4-speed transmission, tinted windows, dual horns, and Positraction.

FEDERAL EMISSIONS REGULATIONS VEHICLE COMPLIANCE: Beginning in 1975, the Federal Government mandated that all new vehicles must meet specific emissions regulations. Auto manufacturers complied with these regulations starting in 1975 by installing various emissions control devices on every new vehicle produced including Corvettes. These emissions regulations apply to all Corvette models from 1975 up to this present year. TheVetteNet.com cannot guarantee any vehicle 1975 or newer, which we have listed for sale, will have all of its factory original emission components installed or that it will pass the emissions inspection in your state. As the buyer, it is your responsibility to keep your Corvette in compliance with the emissions regulations mandated by your particular state and county. Please check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for additional information.
