Back in 1970 only 6,648 Corvette convertibles were produced. Some of them were ordered with the LS5 big block engine that powers this Stingray Corvette. If you have been around classic Corvettes for a while, you know it is pretty hard to find a 1970 convertible for sale, especially a big block.

The restoration of this Cortez Silver classic was completed late last year and looks amazing. The quality of work was done to a standard that makes this Corvette a very good candidate for NCRS or BLOOMINGTON judging.

The owner has documented the important part numbers/dates and they are factory correct. The engine pad appears factory original with the correct stamped numbers and broach pattern. The engine has been rebuilt and retains the factory stock specifications. It was not decked during the rebuild.

The options on this Corvette are the LS5 454/390hp engine, M21 4-speed transmission, AM/FM radio, deluxe interior, tinted windshield and side glass, and Positraction axle (3.36:1 ratio).

Following the completion of the restoration, the car was driven just a few hundred miles to fine-tune everything. Since then, the Vette has been properly stored to preserve its high quality appearance and awaits your inspection.
