The FRAME OFF restoration was started by the previous owner and completed in 2012. When the current owner purchased the Corvette, he decided to bring its restoration to N.C.R.S. standards and submit the Vette for judging. It is an A.O. Smith body with a January 31, 1967 assembly date.

This 1967 Sting Ray convertible was delivered to Frontier Chevrolet in Fresno, CA as noted on the salesman\'s label still on the door. The owner also has the original tank sticker.

Open the hood and you will see the engine bay is pristine with everything done to perfection. The 327  engine pad reads V0112HH which translates to 300HP with a 4-speed transmission. The correct broach markings are on the pad.

The engine was modified to L79 specs (350HP) because the owner wanted stronger performance. The owner states the Muncie 4-speed transmission and Positraction differential also appear factory original and have been rebuilt. Everything on this Corvette has been restored to GM factory and N.C.R.S. specs. As you will see in the photos, the entire chassis is immaculate. The Vette has not been driven in the rain since the restoration was completed.

This Corvette’s performance and handling is \"better than new\" as stated by the owner. Exercising the engine and shifting the 4-speed will put a big smile on your face. Of course, you’ll want the top down for maximum effect.

The owner states everything is in excellent working condition. When asked to rate the overall appearance of his Vette, the owner gave it a 10.  This certainly is a Corvette that has been pampered and kept in top condition.
