During the restoration in 2013/14, the Ermine White paint was stripped revealing a well-preserved body showing no signs of damage. The owner decided to change the color to Tuxedo Black. As you can see, it has a deep shine and still looks fresh today.

Lift the hood and you will see a replacement 327 cubic inch 340 horsepower Corvette engine. It was completely rebuilt during the restoration and has been driven only 200 miles.

This classic Split Window Corvette still has its original 4-speed transmission and Positraction differential. Both have been rebuilt. In fact, most everything on this Corvette has been either restored or replaced.

The entire chassis was refurbished and all the bushings, bearings, suspension components and exhaust system are new.  The drum brakes were also rebuilt.

As you view the photos you will see the owner added a few personal touches to the Sting Ray. The Crager chrome wheels are new as are the Good Year RWL radial tires. The AM/FM stereo radio is an aftermarket model and has very good reception and sound quality. The functional hood air vents have been chromed and the engine bay has a few chrome parts as well.  We are sure you will agree this Split Window Sting Ray has the nostalgic look and it’s awesome!

If you are looking for a Split Window Corvette that has been restored and ready to enjoy, here it is. You cannot buy and restore one at this price. It is a great value in today’s market and certainly a very desirable Corvette.
