2001 model year marked the last of this color making it an instant classic. Also, the options are now packaged in "preferred equipment groups", electrochromatic mirrors were introduced the HP rating was upped to 350. With 35627 units produced that year, Corvette was more popular than ever.
This particular example came from the factory equipped with all the options available as follows:
- preferred equipment group 1SC with heads up display, power telescopic steering column, dual AC, memory package, dual sport seats...
- 6 speed manual transmission
- Z51 - performance handling package featuring larger stabilizer bars and stiffer shocks intended for a sportier ride
- polished aluminum wheels
- CD in dash
- remote 12-disc CD changer
Present seller is describing the car as a "Garage Queen" in 9.5-10 condition. It was meticulously maintained and waxed lots of times. All stock, just an upgraded Hurst shifter and a "skip-shift bypass". All performs as it should, no disappointments. Oh, by the way, it also has brand new GoodYear tires.
